If this discussion means the voting has re-opened, I'm in favor of 'label' as it implies an identifying description, but also connotes something brief.

Personally, I view them as 'descriptions' since thats what I usually write. But 'labels' makes sense too, if you use them that way. However, 'name' just never made since to me though, and initially was a source of confusion when I first read Test::Tutorial and co.

I don't mind patching it again once a word has been choosen (only took about 10 minutes really), we just need to decide on what that word is.
