From the ROADMAP -

=head1 NEXT RELEASE (0.1.2)

This release has a ticket opened as [perl #33916].

http://rt.perl.org/rt3/Ticket/ModifyLinks.html?id=33916

has a list of all the open issues which must be completed for this release.

-snip-

I insured the major items you mentioned were listed as children of this ticket.
I also added in the biggest missing DESIGN issues (incomplete PDDs) and any
pre-existing RT documentation tickets. (I did not see open tickets for either
the new GC system or Dan's major string patch.)

This is obviously only a initial pass, feel free to remove any RT tickets here.
(If you like, you can use the docs/ROADMAP to capture notes and I can transfer
information to the RT system from there.)

Conversely, if there are other issues that you decide you'd like to get
included in this release, we can simply add them to the URL above - once all
the child tickets are closed and the release is cut, we can close the release
ticket.

Please let me know if you would like me to make the use.perl.org announcement
again for this incremental release.

Regards.

What needs to be completed to cut 0.1.2 ? (0.1.1 was cut > 100 days ago)

Yeah. 0.1.2 should be out in about 2 weeks. It should contain:

- Dan's unicode string changes

I'd be happy if people check out that branch and test it.
Merging the branch back to HEAD needs a bit of CVS knowledge.

- The generational GC system is nearly complete. It'll hit CVS in a
  few days.

- Documentation updates. Some should be fairly easy, e.g. bringing imcc
  docs WRT calling conventions up-to-date.
Other changes are more invasive, e.g. fixing (or tossing?) pdd05.

Leo, Dan, if you can provide a list of tasks, I can work on the
administrivia.

Great, thanks.

Thanks!
