Sorry I've been so out of touch lately--I've been suffering through a
series of hardware failures, which pretty much limit me to access at work.
And while on the one hand it's nice to have a lot of computer-free time (I
apparently have a garden. And children. Who'dve thought?) it is getting in
the way rather a lot with parrot.
The situation may or may not get fixed in the next few days (we're on the
third go-round with repair) at which point I've a lot of catching up to
do. In the mean time I'm going to remain only semi-available.
While I'm off in this "real world" thing, it'd be in our best interests to
go do some work on parrot's standard library. A good place to start is
with the list of functions we'll need for the upcoming pie-thon contest
since, in addition to being needed for the contest they're all useful
functions we need to have *anyway*. So that'd be good.
I may or may not have time to dig into strings this week since, while I
don't have easy e-mail access, I do have easy CVS access. We'll see how
that one goes.
