A key part of my argument (and it's find if you understood this, and disagree--just wanted to make sure that it was clear) is that I think we shouldn't try to do any sort of cross-language unification.
I saw that and wasn't really looking to deal with it, but I should've. I think we should have the potential for cross-language unification. It shouldn't be obligatory, but it should be easy, and I think we're going to see perl 5, perl 6, ruby, and python at least sharing a global namespace once we get things going sufficiently.
