Right, but all of this can be dealt with via mod_parrot running under Apache, which strikes me as the more sensible thing to do--they've already worked out all the network protocol stuff and other grotty low-level bits.

A marriage between Parrot and APR (Apache Portable Runtime) might be a marriage in heaven, in that respect. For those not in the know, APR contains most of the grotty low-level bits.
