The directory needs to be added. We're gradually moving our way toward the test hierarchy planned on p6d:
Allison, if you've not gotten a perl.org account head over to bugs.perl.org and get one so we can get you checkin privs. Seems silly to force a go-between for updates to the perl compiler.
