I wish Raku would take a page from Perl5's documentation,
which is very easy for a beginner to pick up. They
start with simple examples, explain everything thing involved,
then work up to the fancy stuff. (Raku is a great clean
up of Perl 5, except for the documentation.)

Todd, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I do not cast aspersion on the
Raku doc writers, but I wish we could agree on some practical middle
ground. Remember, Perl infra has been around many more decades than
Raku, and has had many more people tackling the problem.

Hi Tom,
Oh good gracious, no aspersions on the writers. They
obviously worked put and extreme amount of work into
it.
Every language I have had to work with over the past 50
years, I have just opened up the manual and looked up
what I needed. I do hope the writers are looking at my
complaints and decide on that middle ground you speak of.
