I'm in the process of codifying an RFC that will be titled something
like:
"Replace default filehandle / select with $OUTPUT fileobject"
(chose $OUTPUT b/c of $OUTPUT_* variables)
Everyone: Let's DROP IT. When the RFC comes out (today), let's pick this
back up on -io. Thanks.
