Version 1.4 of MARC::Lint has been released on CPAN [1]. This differs little from the version originally included with MARC::Record 1.38, and is intended as a baseline release. The only significant changes are to the DATA section: -Added basic data for fields 001-008. -Updated to Update 4 (Oct. 2003) of the MARC21 Bibliographic standard. -Minor data corrections (caused by running the specs script to clean the field list file).
Also, CVS [2] has a new version of the lint.t test file, which will hopefully allow it to run without modification on multiple platforms. It uses File::Spec to specify the path to the t/camel.usmarc file.
