Hi all,

I've got all the bits in place for a "cataloguer's workshop":
http://home.westman.wave.ca/~dchristensen/index.html

(I still haven't settled on a final name for this thing - sorry, Eric! Soon!)

The sample application, ALEX::Scaffold, works as a rudimentary (and not very
pretty) workshop, allowing you to load records into various workfiles, edit
them, move them from workfile to workfile, and export them.

The database abstraction layer isn't at all optimized (I tried searching a
workfile with 10,000 records; it took about 2 seconds on an 1GHz Athlon), but
I can't imagine using this to monkey with huge record sets yet anyway :-)

At any rate, feel free to play with it. Let me know what else you'd like to
see.... I'm hoping to have some time this weekend to replace the scaffold
with a "real" workshop app.
