Hi All, I've been working on an ISO-protocol-based Interlibrary Loan module (Biblio::ILL::ISO), which is (I think) nearing a usable state.
The module implements the 20 ISO 10161 (Interlibrary Loan) message classes (ILL-Request, Answer, etc), plus the hundred or so types that make up those classes. There is a test suite. I'm currently writing the POD documentation, but not all of it is finished yet.... And there are a handful of test/example programs. If all this works well - and I resolve a few other issues - then it should be relatively easy to build an interlibrary loan management system by hooking to a back-end database and some front-end GUI (perhaps Perl/Tk?). I'll hopefully be getting it up to the CPAN soon (next week?). It would really help (my nervousness about submitting to CPAN, if nothing else!) if some of you could play with it and offer comments, questions, and criticisms.... You can download it from: http://maplin.gov.mb.ca/pub/TEST/ I'll be in and out of my office all afternoon - after 4:30 (CST) you can reach me at: DChristensen at westman dot wave dot ca Thanks, everyone!
