I know this is a shot in dark, but anyway. I'm using Perl 5.8.8, which I have built myself on MinGW (non-threaded, threads don't seem to work). I have a set of modules, which use various DLLs through xs, so they all have created DLLs as well. Especially I'm using Perl-Gtk2 modules that I have also built myself.
Now it seems that I get a corrupt stack when these modules are not loaded in certain order. Specifically, I'm trying to move some xs code from one module to another. The code works in the other module but not in the other, I suspect it is because in the latter it is booted after Gtk-modules are booted. The error is invalid access to a memory location, gdb gives gibberish and suggests that the stack is corrupt. Needless it might be to say that the code relocation works perfectly in Linux. Any ideas?
