According to http://ppm.activestate.com/BuildStatus/5.8-T.html it's a CORE module - hence one would not expect to find a ppm for it at ActiveState. Amazingly, on build 819 I get: C:\>perl -MText::Soundex -e "print $Text::Soundex::VERSION" 1.01 >> Is there some reason that there seems to be no PPM for Soundex 3.02 at >> ActiveState? Probably .... but I don't know what it is :-) >> >> It isn't at uWinnipeg either :( >> Probably just means that no-one's ever asked Randy for it. Doesn't seem to be in the Bribes rep, either. Version 3.02 seems to build ok (at least in so far as it compiles and passes all tests in its test suite). Let me know if you want me to send over the binaries.
