Hi rob ,
Firstly about the "nmake test" - it too has the same issue wherein it cannot
load the dll generated - the error message is like :

I tried searching for COREdll.dll but none of them seem to be the answer

Subject: Query regarding XS-XSUB module in activestate perl on windows XP
Hi
I was able to create a Xtension Subroutine but at the time when i try to run
my test perl file:
perl hello.pl
I encounter the error : COREdll.dll not found and the script compliants
saying:
(It was earlier complaining of not finding msvcr80.dll which i solved by
puttin git into the system32 folder )
--This is the error message --
Can't load 'C:\Mytest\blib\arch/auto/Mytest/Mytest.dll' for module Mytest:

Did you run 'nmake test' while building your extension ? If so, did the test
script attempt to load (use) your 'Mytest' module ? Is so, did it succeed in
doing that ?
If Mytest.dll needs COREdll.dll and can't find it, then that will certainly
prevent Mytest.dll from loading. Unfortunately, I don't know what
COREdll.dll is, why it might be needed, or where to get it - but searching
with Google for COREdll.dll looks promising:
http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=COREdll.dll&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
Cheers,
Rob
