All, I bought one of those $15 packaged web-based perl scripts to perform a specific function on my website (I was too lazy to build it my self). I now want to modify some things to make it more functional, but all of the files are encoded with random variable names and all text strings are in ASCII format like "\x63\x75\x73\x74\x6f\x6d".
Anyone know of an easy way to unencode the ASCII text parts? I've seen the chr() and ord() functions, but I'm not sure how to use these on an entire file at once (or line by line). - Chris _______________________________________________ Perl-Win32-Users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
