Greetings perl-win32-users,

I have a perl TK application that needs to be very responsive to
keyboard input. It was working pretty well but things have changed on
my computer that I am possibly blaming on the latest Windows updates.
This app seems to have become very sluggish since I got the Windows
Genuine (dis)advantage update. I need to run a midi file player and
also the app that I wrote and have them act at music speeds. The file
player is fine because it probably sets it process priority at a high
level. If I set the priority of my app in task manager it is just fine
but I would like to have the program do it when it starts. I have read
about the Win32::Process module which looks like it will do the job
but it will take me a while to figure out how to use it and I have a
deadline of right now to get it working.

It would be great if someone has a block of code that I can just dump
into my script and have its process priority set at high when the
program runs. Or, is there a module that is a little easier to figure
out?
