Using Win32-OLE for automation results in crash of perl.
The scenario is as follows.
Create an IE object & subscribe for the events
my $IE = Win32::OLE->new("InternetExplorer.Application")|| die "Could not start Internet Explorer.Application\n";
Win32::OLE->WithEvents($IE,\&CaptureEvent,"DWebBrowserEvents2");
The callback function is called for all the events taking place in IE.
sub CaptureEvent
{
my ($Obj,$Event,@Args) = @_;
if ($Event eq "NewWindow2")
{
$docPopupComplete = 0;
my $IEpopup = Win32::OLE->new("InternetExplorer.Application",\&Destructor)->{Application}
Win32::OLE->WithEvents($IEpopup,\&CapturePopupEvent,"DWebBrowserEvents2");
$Args[0]->Put($IEpopup);
}
On the receipt of 'NewWindow2' event new popupIE object is created.
But later when the program ends perl crashes.
Anywork around to this. Eagerly awaiting for the reply.
Thanks & Regards,
Rk
