My theory on what happened is that this person was trying to forward his old list mail and wound up reinjecting the messages into SMTP. So his mailer dutifully processed them as new mail and sent them all over the world. Like it was just the next hop in the relay. One of the weirder ones had his name and my email address. Like "hescobar \"Chris Wagner\" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>". Kind of like formail gone horribly wrong. That would explain the seemingly consistent headers going all the way back to the original posting.
