Hey list, Thought I'd pass this on. Last night I tried 3 times to download the new version of Perl and was using the "save" mode. This was after I had removed version 5.6 from my system. Right before the download was completed my computer rebooted automatically each of 3 times. I was downloading the windows version with the windows installer. After the 3rd time I tried the "run" option and it worked that way. Eric
