Pardon the berevity here, but I'm looking for some information on interfacing with a J2EE application.
We run an application over here which is changing to a web-based implementation. Our current process of inputting data from outside systems into the database was via DBI. We are now instructed to do our data processing via the J2EE APIs. Not being very familiar with J2EE I've looked at a variety of options, none of which I'm too sure of. To help cut down on all of the time being spent looking over a plethoria of modules, could those with Perl programs interfacing with a J2EE web-based application provide some input on how they access the APIs? I'd like to be going in the right direction sooner instead of later.
