----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Perhaps it's some problem with your path (as has already been suggested). Try entering at the prompt:
path=C:\Perl\bin;%path% Does the 'ppm' command then work as it should ? Of course, if you apply that as the fix (assuming it *does* fix the problem), then you'll have to enter that command every time you open a new cmd.exe shell. It would be better to change the path permanently to its correct form. What does your path variable currently contain ? If there's still a problem that you can't solve, can you tell us what happens when you run the ppm command from Perl\bin folder: C:\Perl\bin>ppm If that works ok, but 'ppm' still won't work when run from any other folder, then there's definitely something inappropriate in your path. Something is screwed, but I'm starting to think that the fastest way (for me, anyway) to work out what it is would be to fly to Japan and take a look :-) Cheers, Rob _______________________________________________ Perl-Win32-Users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
