Hi Fellows:

I am learning perl in Windows, and I want to do a search and replace from
a command line using swiches with Perl.

I am trying to run a perl script from a command line  but doesn't work .

This script Search for a string CBDPGM  and Replace CBD835
 in the current directory for all files with extension .txt

Commad line:
C:\Perl\bin\perl5.8.4.exe -e -p -i.orig  tst.pl  *.txt

The script is in a perl program tst.pl :

# tst.pl
 BEGIN { @ARGV = map {glob} @ARGV }
 s/CBDPGM/CBD835/g ;

When I run the script from the command line does nothing.

Thanks

Tony
