And what module do you suggest to use instead in order to read the memory of
a win32 applitation?
Thanks,
Alejandro

Subject: Win 32 memory access
Any documentation about this module?
Only what appears in 'perldoc Win32::Process::Memory'.
I lost patience with this module fairly quickly. It doesn't have a decent
test suite, and I couldn't get it to produce sane results. I suspect it's
very buggy ..... but I could be wrong. I didn't really give it a fair
trial
:-)
I tried:
use strict;
use warnings;
use Win32::Process::Memory;
my $proc = Win32::Process::Memory->new({ pid => 1424 });
printf "Commited Memory = %d Bytes\n", $proc->get_memtotal;
__END__
pid 1424 is a notepad.exe process. According to Task Manager its memory
usage is 132K.
The script produced: Commited Memory = 11649024 Bytes. That's quite a bit
different to 132K, isn't it ? Or is "Committed memory" something quite
different to Task Manager's "Mem usage" ?
Perhaps the author is prepared to help if you can't get the answers here.
Cheers,
Rob
