Most code is made up of functions - just a modular way of doing things. You probably don't even need IPC or a separate process to do the splash screen - it's more trouble than just doing it in the same process (assuming it's just a simple dialog box). My first choice would be to just write a function to do the splash screen and do it in the same process as the rest of the code. -- ,-/- __ _ _ $Bill Luebkert Mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (_/ / ) // // DBE Collectibles Mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] / ) /--< o // // Castle of Medieval Myth & Magic http://www.todbe.com/ -/-' /___/_<_</_</_ http://dbecoll.tripod.com/ (My Perl/Lakers stuff) _______________________________________________ Perl-Win32-Users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
