Greetings Perl-Win32-Users, I use perl because my sister told me to learn it. I studied a little programming in another lifetime but forgot most of it. I needed a powerful language that was easy to learn well enough to be able to stat producing immediately. Most of my scripts are used to manipulate MIDI files. I use the MIDI perl library and am able to do all sorts of complicated things without ever having to touch a chunk directly or worry about all the low level details. I can provide diagnosis, support and custom solutions for my customers without having to wait for someone else. I also write scripts for automating my record creation and management. After using perl for about 3 years, it is difficult to imagine how I could have lived without it.
