I use AxWindow: Works well. I am sure my code could use some
cleaning... The EventID part allows you to capture and trigger based
on what is done in the window.
I would check the AxWindow docs for better info on this though.
$browsewindow = new Win32::GUI::Window (
-name => "browsewindow",
-title => "$browsetitle",
-post => [100, 100],
-size => [$browsewidth, $browseheight],
);
$Control = new Win32::GUI::AxWindow (
-parent => $browsewindow,
-name => "Control",
-control => "Shell.Explorer.2",
-control =>
"{8856F961-340A-11D0-A96B-00C04FD705A2}",
-pos => [$startx, $starty],
-size => [$browsewidth, $browseheight],
); # Register some event
$Control->RegisterEvent("StatusTextChange",
sub {
$self = shift;
$eventid = shift;
gui_note("Event : $self, $eventid \n");
} ); # Call Method
$Control->CallMethod("Navigate", "$browselink");
# Event loop
$browsewindow->Show();
