Chris, it is not necessary to compile and link Win32-GUI.
Just wanted to let you know in case you didn't know. You
may have a good reason for wanting to do this which I am
not aware of (since I am not a C programmer).

Subject: [perl-win32-gui] Using Win32GUI with Perl 5.005
Hello -
I'm unable to compile Win32::GUI with Perl 5.005_03.
The error I get when I try to compile it is:
GUI.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__itoa
GUI.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__ltoa
GUI.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__strncmp
GUI.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__sprintf
GUI.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__strncpy
LINK : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __DllMainCRTStartup@12
blib\arch\auto\Win32\GUI\GUI.dll : fatal error LNK1120: 6 unresolved
externals
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'link' : return code '0x460'
Stop.
Has anyone succeeded in doing this?
Thanks,
