ActiveState is migrating the lists to a new MLM (Mailing List Manager) yet
again. The MLM flavor-of-the-month this time is mailman
(http://www.list.org), probably due to the new influx of Python aficionados.
They seem to be having trouble with the migration. I doubt the intention is
to start moderating the lists.
They are not very communicative about this. I'd like to know the reasons
behind their switching from Majordomo to Lyris to mailman. Personally, I was
happy when they were using Majordomo (never liked Lyris much). I sent them
an email and the response was a short "sorry" and that was about it.
