ARRGGG!!!! while working on making a compound filter we could never get it right. the packets didn't show the properly parsed multiple comparisons. net::ldap::filter shows the syntax but it has no examples and seemed very odd looking. so i goto the rfc. i see the table that was copied from the rfc to the pod. but i read this extra line:
The filter format uses a prefix notation. print "ARRGGG!!!!!!\n" x 1000 ; no wonder the bnf looked so odd. it was PREFIX style!!!! so please add that line to the net::ldap::filter pod. and maybe a few examples. thanx, uri -- Uri Guttman ------ [EMAIL PROTECTED] -------- http://www.stemsystems.com --Perl Consulting, Stem Development, Systems Architecture, Design and Coding- Search or Offer Perl Jobs ---------------------------- http://jobs.perl.org
