Paul,
It sounds like the eft FMA agent is burning up the system. You might
try
to unload it and see if response perks up. In general, you can use
prstat,
top, or the system performance monitor app (can't remember its real
name)
to see what processes are using resources.
to see loaded FM modules:
pfexec fmadm config
to unload the eft module
pfexec fmadm unload eft
I suspect that the new hardware is not yet tested with eft. Check
with the
folks on fm-discuss for more info.
