Without the squeue settings it was 50-60 MBytes/sec per link. Here's what we're doing: http://www.solarisinternals.com/wiki/index.php/Networks#Additional_tunable_for_ systems_with_1.0GHz_CPU This limits interrupt handling to one thread per core. Just doing this without any of the IP tuning made a difference on our T2000's (44 MBytes/sec before, 50-60 after); As you said, it likely would not matter on your system, which has much faster CPU cores than the T2000.
