G'Day All,

I think for once I was too brief.

There has been a conscious decision to include Filebench in both Solaris
and OpenSolaris under /usr/benchmarks/filebench. If the community is
looking for an IO benchmarking tool, then that should be your first stop.

There is work in progress to enhance Filebench to do everything, including
features that vdbench has. Since this is work in progress, customers may
find their Sun representitive using vdbench for a little while yet;
however there is no plan to include a second IO benchmarking tool in
/usr/benchmarks. If possible, we'll make one tool do everything.
