enough big number of jvms. Is your server based on 8 cores with 16 or
32GB ? I would say you should have a big enough swap as well for all
these JVMs and the needed reservations.

We were in a T2000, 8 cores, 32GB RAM with 4 zones, 20-25 jvms. It is
somehow difficult to know how to size properly a T2000 server and how
many applications can you actually install. Zones as well demand a much
delicate attention when you should think: do I need Resource Management
or stay default.

At least on my side it was clear that I needed to read more about:

  - how do you move workloads from other SMP type servers to T2000. How
are my T2000 resources utilised ? CPU, most likely is the part which is
more difficult since we need to count on core utilisation.

  - cputrack, trapstat are again good friends here, but not often used.
You can measure the TLB misses

  - analyse and estimate somehow how many jvms you can have per T2000, a
bit difficult question depending of your JVM options.

  - better analyse the applications, using Studio for instance. This is
something Im studying at the moment.
