Hi I havw a customer that had problems with one fabric of his san, but I could only see that some IOs was slov, and not map this to one of the fabrics as I was unable to see the performence data of the lune presented by the arrays due to MPXIO. When I found a box running DMP I used iostat's option to isolate the controlers (still not good enought, but ok for this task), but it was not working for mpxio since it hides the controlers.
Is there a way to see the controler data when using mpxio? Another issue I have is that I do not seem to be able to find any virtualization features or resource control in the Disk IO subsystem. I would like to be able to do the same thing for Disk IO as I am doing for CPU and network now. GL (Highest priority, 10 Shares) Zone DB ( GL - 1, 60 Shares) Zone APP ( GL -2, 10 Shares) Zone Web (GL - 2, 20 Shares) Am I missing something or is it not possible today? -- // Flemming Danielsen
