Thanks Dan, this is a generally useful test suite. I tried to get it working on my Mac OSX/G4 laptop, and found some portability issues. I have most of it working apart from the tests that involve fork. I have modified the makefile and wrapper slightly, let me know if you want the changes....

Thanks to some help from Liane, today I got the libMicro 0.3.0 source checked into a Mercurial repository on OpenSolaris.org. This should hopefully enable easier and moer broadly based contributions to this very fine performance tool. I've also moved the relevant content from the performance community into the libmicro project, which is here: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/libmicro/ The Hg repository is here: hg clone ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/hg/libmicro/libmicro There's some minor cleanup needed to get things to place nicely with Hg, but I thought getting the source code into the repository was the most important thing. For now, I've set the notification email address to perf-discuss under the assumptions that the volume will be low and that people will be curious. If it gets irritating for people, we can always create a new list. The current idea is to issue periodic tarballs with the latest. Currently the 0.3.0 tarball is exactly in sync with the contents of the repository.
