I'm trying to get Orca going on a 64 bit amd64 system (Sun X4600 to
be exact), but can't get the SE Toolkit to run. I've installed the
Solaris 10 amd64 patches found at <http://www.orcaware.com/orca/pub/
SE/se-solaris-10-x86-64bit.diff.txt>, compiled a 64 bit 'se' binary
('se.amd64'), but all I get is a segmentation fault when starting it
up. Here is the output from the /etc/init.d/orcallator script:
# /etc/init.d/orcallator start
Writing data into /opt/local/orca/var/orca/orcallator/mysystem/
Using www access log file /var/apache2/logs/access_log
Starting logging
Sending output to nohup.out
2105 Segmentation Fault
Running by hand produces the same output:
# /opt/RICHPse/bin/se.amd64 -DWATCH_OS -DWATCH_WEB /opt/local/orca/
lib/orcallator.se
Segmentation fault
Any ideas? I've run Orca on Solaris SPARC systems before and want to
run it on amd64.
The OS is Solaris 10 1/06.
thanks,
-john
