A steak fanatic, my husband always pickes out cuts that include a bone because
he loves to nibble on it.
(NIBBLE ON = Menggerumis - tulang)
On night He and I were finishing our dinner at a steak house, and I could tell
he wanted to start gnawing on the bone
(GNOWING ON = Menggorogoti)
But He couldn't bear to do so in public."Excuse me, He said calling the
waitress over," Would you please wrap this bone up for my dog?"
(COULDN'T BEAR=tdk berani/tdk tahan)
My husband has never owned a dog on his life, but the white lie seemed
a tactful solution for his dilemma.
(WHITE LIE : Kebohongan utk suatu kebaikan)
A few minutes later the waitress returned to our table
"Here is your bone sir," She said handing over a large package
"And while I was in the kitchen, I grabbed a few more out the scrap bucket."
(SCRAP BUCKET=Kerajang Sampah)
I and my husband ( ?????!!!!!!....) how pity....
