I used to use Rodinal, Xtol and DD-X. I tried PMK (tested the whole
batch), FX-39 recently as well.

PMK is too grainy. FX-39 looks like XTOL, but with less speed.

I use XTOL for just about everything now: D100, D400 and Neopan 1600.
I'll use the Rodinal here and there on D100 just for variety's sake.
The DD-X comes out when I shoot D3200 at 1250 in the 645N or if I have
to shoot TMZ when I can't find any Neopan 1600 locally.
