Anyway..I didn't find out what f stop your lens is, but I bet it
is around f/5.6.
Try the Pentax 2-XS teleconverter if you can find one.
Very good quality in an inexpensive little optic.
I use one on a Tokina AT-X 80-200 (f/2.8) from time to time and
am quite happy the combination.
Buy the best lenses you can, whether autofocus or manual, and
worry about the future it it comes.
And do look at that website.
