I'm glad you repeated this. I don't think anyone can give a definitive answer to this yet. DSLRs are quite new to the market, all still under manufacturers warranty and long term reliability/repairs out of warranty, are all unknown factors. New DSLR prices appear to be coming down too. Malcolm
