Under optimal storage conditions, you can expect something like: - 200 years B&W film - 100 years B&W prints & color slide film - 50 years color photographic prints - 25 years color digital prints - next computer crash - HD stored digital images - next file format change - CD/DVD stored digital images Compare that with cave paintings.
