Personally I can't see what good being rude and unpolite does except souring the atmosphere and creating long bitter threads. By all means, if you prefer people to call you names instead of arguing your points, say so! > And why do you bother with a "pet camera company" thats unable to deliver world class equipment, or a mailing list of the same? Mind you, I'm not asking you to leave; I'm genuinely inrerested in what kind of rationality lies behind this. No excuse for the foul language. I have tried to keep myself above it for the past while, with some success. Why do I bother with Pentax? I like the lenses, and mostly, I like the equipment. Even the MZ-S, as gimmicky as I find it, is more desirable to me than anything else out there right now. Regarding the mailing list, as you know, I don't find the equipment to be very dependable. I have had far more camera failures with Pentax over the past 15 years than I had with the equipment I used for the previous 15 years. This list has been a pretty good source of advice and information in my attempts to keep my gear operating. > > > > Some of us actually use this stuff for real work, not play > > school photography. Because I can't afford to replace the 30 or so lenses and dozen bodies that I own. When I bought the stuff, I thought it was first rate. By the time I found out otherwise, I was in too deep to change. William Robb This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
