Yes, I'd expect that.  There are a lot of strange things when it comes to
cameras.  Incorrectly film loading (then shooting 36 exp. on one frame:),
thumb over the lens, you name it (and you see it).  It doesn't happen that
way with a VCR, people seem to be able to put in a cassette easy enough.
Same with DVDs, I think most people insert them correctly.  Same with
stereos.  They can work cell phones with text messenging, they may even have
a Ph. D.!  But when it comes to cameras, some people are well you know....
Btw, at my photography class, one lady was jabbering on and on about the
shots she has taken and was showing off her Nikon F100.  When the instructor
first mentioned DOF (Preview) she asked what that meant.  I almost laughed!
I did notice a trend.  It seems like those who came to class with older SLRs
seem to be more knowledgeable.  (Except me! :))
