Loads of fun!! I bought a 77mm red filter for my Vivitar S1 24-48 for a pretty decent price, and Dave bought a bunch of chemicals and stuff. After talking with Dave and Aaron, I think I'll definitely take the plunge and invest the few dollars necessary to start to develop my own b&w negs. Seems like it'll be cheap, easy and fun. Aaron also had (on consignment) a Besseler enlarger and a Rodenstock enlarging lens, for what seemed a good price. Too bad I live in a little bachelor apartment, with no place to put an enlarger, let alone use it. Even so, it's still very tempting... Also saw some beautiful prints of Prague that Aaron took with the 6x7 on his honeymoon. Aaron has a terrific eye, and that camera really rocks, too! All in all, a good time. I'll have to make the trip out there again soon (to pick up my chemicals). regards, frank -- "The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds.
