flares, badly. The "multicoating" is in reality no better than good singlecoating, and seems to be just two-layer. It produces bright reflections of the diaphragm.
Sharp? Dunno. Seemed good, but I saw just small prints. From tests: average wide open, good 2.8, v.good-excellent 4 (center), corners about one stop more to be similar. However, credibility unknown. Is yours M2.8/28 really so bad? Some reported it's a good lens. The one I saw was trully bad wide open, unusable wide open. However, the Kiron flares. Mechanically, it's average. HTH Fra
