Just got back from the Grandfather Mountain Camera Clinic after a very enjoyable weekend. Had an excellent breakfast first thing on Saturday, courtesy of Bill and Phyllis Owens and met the redoubtable Mike Johnston. Met a couple of other PDML members I'd never encountered in person before - Greywolf and Jerome - (great people, as I've come to expect by now). Shot a couple of rolls in the 645 and one with the K2. Went wading in a mountain-fed stream with a tripod in the morning. Got to be a "Supervising Tripod Sherpa" for an afternoon; Cesar was the actual "Tripod *Carrying* Sherpa" but without my management skills to direct him I'm sure he would have been lost ;) Heard Mike Johnston's talk on Saturday night (which was excellent, BTW).
