The lens in question is the SMC Pentax-F 17-28mm f3.5-4.5 fisheye zoom. Here's the situation... the store I work for, Don's Photo, ordered one of these in for a customer who changed his mind about taking it. Now we have to get rid of it, and Winnipeg is too small of a market to do that easily. So, to a lucky PDML member, I can let it go for $430 US ($670 CAN), with free shipping anywhere in Canada or the U.S. That's a better deal than B&H, who wants $434.95 plus shipping.
The lens is new in the box and comes with the full two-year Canadian warranty (one year international). If you have any warranty problems whatsoever, you can always send it back to me and I'll take care of it completely. The lens comes NIB with both caps and a soft pouch. I'll also throw in a free pro-pack of either Kodak 160NC 35mm (5 rolls of 36 exp.) or Kodak 400NC 120 (5 rolls of 120), as well as a free Lowepro lens cloth. Because this is being sold by the store, not just myself, I won't be able to accept personal cheques, but a credit card would be fine (as long as we're shipping it to the address that the credit card is registered to). A money order would be okay, too. Please let me know which payment type you'd prefer. If you have any questions, or want to buy it, please reply off-list. I've bought and sold enough stuff with list members in the past four years that I should have enough character references out there. :) It's a fun lens, with moderate full-frame fisheye distortion at 17mm and practically none by the time you get to 28mm. So c'mon... support your local PDML geek! ;) Thanks, chris - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
