Funny how the meaning of words changes.  Inhumane treatment used to describe
treating people like animals.  Now it seems to mean not treating animals
like people.

Its wasteful and inhumane to support rattlesnake roundups, just as it was
incredibly wasteful and wrong in what we (Americans) did to the bison on
the plains.

However, I won't start my diatribe on here, just go ahead and do a search
on rattlesnake roundups, and find some of the critical pages. Its kinda
depressing how people treat wildlife around them, and snakes rarely fare
very well because of people's misconceptions.

ObPentax: I've been thinking about setting up a small terrirum in the
corner to try and take photos of some of my snakes, except I have limited
space and resources, and I've been too lazy thus far. I do have some
lovely snapshots of them, though.
