I haven't really got any good advice about the answering machine except to say the in my experience AT&T machines have very limited software options and no documentation that I know of. (Get another answering machine, at least that's the Microsoft answer ;) ).
I wouldn't mention that I'm taking my LX across country if I didn't want to get a rant about using such an unreliable piece of equipment for my valuable photographs from certain people on the list. (A word to the Wise). And Please Please Please don't mention the OS you're using. I've tried so hard to keep out of this and it's really been very difficult. P. S. Have a wonderful time.
