Difficult one this month. I keep going back to look at all the submissions.
Some excellent ones there (as ever). Some I'm not so struck with but then
portraiture means different things to different people.
Anyway, here are a few comments on the ones that caught my eye (for
whatever reason).
"The Cantor" by Jeff Post
This is Brilliant (with a capital B). The colours are just wonderful and
it's superbly composed. The lettering just sets the whole thing off
perfectly. Someone suggested that it might be better with the person on the
right of the picture, but I don't think so. This works fine just the way it
is.
